My journey in the group: growing with changes

I joined the group on February 2, 2015, through the acquisition of Flexpeople, where I was an HR consultant. I was assigned to the Campo Grande office, without imagining the turns my personal and professional life would take that same year.

A month after starting, I discovered I was pregnant with my second daughter, Joana. It was also around that time that I received an invitation to coordinate the Campo Grande team.

It wasn’t just a challenge. It was the beginning of a growth process that has accompanied me until today. Over time, I came to manage more geographical areas, which allowed me to interact with different realities within the temporary work business, learning and gaining a much broader vision of the sector.

In September 2017, I embraced a new challenge: the management of outsourcing projects. It was like entering a new “world,” different from temporary work. With it came new contexts, new demands, and, above all, new learnings. This period allowed me to develop skills that I had never worked on before, such as financial indicator management, operational team planning, and more complex support processes.

With the natural growth of the projects, there arose the need to reorganize the teams internally, and that’s how I took on the leadership of the People & Financial Support department — a name that may seem technical, but that, for me, has everything to do with taking care of people and ensuring that the financial core of the projects is stable.

The impact of major changes

If there was a moment that forced us to change, it was the pandemic. From one day to the next, we were all challenged to rethink routines, priorities, and, above all, the way we work. It was a test of resilience, but also of creativity and collaboration.

The company knew how to adapt quickly, investing in digital tools, adjusting processes, and bringing teams even closer. The feeling of unity grew, and this was visible not only in screen meetings but also in the effort we all made to support our clients and keep services running, even in the most critical phases.

But with the changes in the market, from price and margin changes to the evolution of legal requirements, we also had to review ways of working. Digitalization stopped being an option and became a necessity. Today, we use tools that allow us to analyze data quickly and efficiently, make more informed decisions, and we intend to automate part of what is done manually. This frees up time for the most important: thinking strategically and being present for people.

Our adaptation

Our adaptation was, above all, an exercise in proximity and openness. We quickly realized that to keep up with changes, often rapid and unpredictable, it was essential to maintain constant dialogue, an open mind, and the ability to reinvent ourselves.

We adjusted processes, redesigned functions, adopted new tools and technologies. But the most important thing was what we built among ourselves: a solid trust, made of transparency, active listening, and mutual support.

It has been (and continues to be) a journey of continuous learning, where each challenge also brought an opportunity to improve. And I believe that this evolution is only possible when everyone feels part of the solution. When we give space to listen, welcome, and value everyone’s ideas, commitment grows, and motivation comes naturally.

What I value

Over these years, what I have valued the most is the freedom to grow, to experiment, and to make mistakes safely. Working in a company where there is space to evolve, where we are challenged, but also supported, makes all the difference.

I also value the spirit of mutual support, knowing that we are together, regardless of what arises. It’s not just about meeting objectives; it’s about building something meaningful every day.

A journey in constant evolution

Looking back, I see demanding but also very rewarding moments. I have grown as a professional and as a person.

And I continue with the same desire to learn, contribute, and transform. The world changes, and we change with it. That’s what makes this journey so rich and special.

At Knower, I found a space where it is possible to take risks, innovate, and grow. Here, each challenge comes with confidence and support, and that makes all the difference. That’s why I continue to be motivated to give my best every day and to believe that, together, we can achieve even more.
